Full Contest Rules – Terms and Conditions (the “Contest”)
THIS CONTEST IS ONLY OPEN TO ONTARIO RESIDENTS AND IS GOVERNED BY CANADIAN LAW AND THE LAWS OF THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. SEE BELOW FOR FULL CONTEST DETAILS. PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES YOUR FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE OF, AND AGREEMENT TO BE LEGALLY BOUND, BY THESE CONTEST RULES.
CONTEST PERIOD
1) Entries will be accepted online starting on Monday, September 9th, 2024 at 12:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) and ending Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:59 P.M. EST. All online entries must be received by Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:59 P.M. EST.
ELIGIBILTY
2) This Contest is open only to those who leave a Google Review and who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. The Contest is only open to legal residents of Ontario and is void where prohibited by law. Each participant may only leave one review and enter the contest once (1). Employees of Scholarly Incorporated (o/a Scholarly Elite Tutoring), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, municipal and provincial laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
3) The entry must fulfill all Contest requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Scholarly Incorporated.
HOW TO ENTER
4) NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To participate in this Contest, you must:

5) You will receive one (1) entry in the Contest when you leave your Google Review as stated in section 3, above and in accordance with these contest rules.

PRIZES
6) GRAND PRIZE: There will be one (1) grand prize available to be won, consisting of 6-hours of free tutoring sessions with one or more Scholarly Inc. tutors. Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Scholarly Incorporated. Grand prize must be used by the winner before 11:59 P.M. EST on 31 December 2025. Depending on the requested course, the prize winner must accept that tutoring may occur virtually using an online tutoring system to ensure the safety of tutors and students.
7) PARTICIPATION PRIZE: Every participant of this contest will receive a single one (1) hour tutoring session with a Scholarly Inc. tutor to be used before the specified time period.
No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted, except at Scholarly Incorporated’s discretion. The prize is non-transferable to others and requests for cash equivalents are strictly prohibited. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Scholarly Incorporated to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
WINNER SELECTION AND REDEMPTION OF PRIZE
8) Winner will be selected by random drawing under the supervision of Scholarly Incorporated.
9) Winner will be notified by email within three (3) days following selection of Winner. Scholarly Incorporated shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 10 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Contest is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, municipal and provincial laws and regulations.
10) Winner will be required to complete a skill-testing question form prior to claim of prize.
GENERAL
11) By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Scholarly Incorporated as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Contest.
12) Scholarly Incorporated reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Scholarly Incorporated’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest. In such case, Scholarly Incorporated may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Scholarly Incorporated. Scholarly Incorporated reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Scholarly Incorporated reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13) Limitation of Liability: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Scholarly Incorporated and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
